Hawthorne Daniel papers, circa 1945-1960.

The collection consists of typescripts of "Two bids for a club," "'Cowboy Jim' Dahlman, seven times mayor of Omaha," "The romance of the development of ships," and "What is the future of New England?" The collection also includes autograph drafts and typescripts of a poem entitled "To a lecturer on paleontology." The collection also includes an autograph manuscript by Ruth Lionberger entitled "I pick 'em up" and letter from Lionberger to Hawthorne and Nelle Daniel. The collection also includes three photographs of James C. Dahlman.
